WANT TO REFILL MORE? Whilst we are primarily an organic store and not a refill shop we have for over 25 years offered some products where you can bring your original container and refill it. The most logical and popular products we have always offered the refill option on are household cleaning products and body care as the original container is a sturdy bottle and refilling also offers great savings on these lines from buying another new bottle. These products have expanded over the years to include a number of different brands and choices of products and fragrances. We also offer some of our ambient products loose such as pasta, rice, omega seed mix and more. Refills are also available for deodorants, diffusers and more. If there are other products you are interested in us offering for refill then let us know in the comments below and we will consider, there needs to be enough demand for an item and for there to be enough of a benefit in an item by refilling it without the quality and shelf life being affected. Some items it is not practical for us to offer - for example we were asked about flour refills - already in paper bags and we hold far too many different ones in stock for this to be viable. FIGS! I grow lots of fruit, veg and herbs and one fruit that is loving the sun is the figs with a bumper crop this year. Delicious as they are or for a delicious treat halve them, trickle with a little honey and dot with a vey small bit of butter, scatter with flaked or chopped almonds, bake for 15 minutes on medium heat, pop a dollop of ricotta of top of the hot figs and trickle over a bit more honey, lovely!
